A meal is an hour on charge. A charger in your car park is the reason a driver picks your pub over the next one.

Why it fits a pub or restaurant

Drivers plan longer trips around where they can stop, so a countryside pub or a destination restaurant that can charge them is worth the detour. A 22kW charger adds around 90 miles of range in the time it takes to have a meal.

While the car charges, guests are more relaxed about staying for another course, a coffee or a dessert. Electric car drivers also return more often to places where they know they can plug in.

Once your charger is live we add the site to the apps drivers use to find somewhere to plug in, including Zapmap, Google Maps and Apple Maps.

What EV Plus provides for pubs and restaurants

We fund the chargers and handle the installation, so there is no cost to the pub. Installs are carried out to BS 7671 and we carry £5 million of public liability insurance. We operate and maintain the units, and a 22kW charger matches the length of a typical meal. We add bays as more of your customers drive electric.
