Visitors to theme parks, zoos, stately homes and other tourist attractions leave their car for hours. A charger in your car park means they drive home with more range than they arrived with. EV Plus installs and runs chargers at visitor attractions across England and Wales, at no cost to the attraction.
Why it fits a visitor attraction
A visit to a theme park, zoo or stately home often lasts several hours. A 7kW charger adds about 30 miles of range an hour, so a family who plugs in on arrival and stays three hours leaves with about 90 miles added. Where visits are shorter, or you have a three-phase supply, a 22kW unit adds around 90 miles an hour.
Many attractions are out of town or in the countryside, where public chargers are thin on the ground. For a driver on a long round trip, a charger at the attraction means they don't have to find one on the way home.
Once your charger is live we add your site to the apps drivers use to find somewhere to plug in, including Zapmap, Google Maps and Apple Maps. Visitors planning a trip can see that you have charging before they set off.

Heritage sites and rural locations
Stately homes, castles and gardens often sit in listed grounds or conservation areas, and rural sites can be a long way from the electricity supply. Neither rules you out. We check permissions as part of the free site assessment, and choose charger positions and cable routes that respect the setting. Read Is my site suitable? for what we look at.
